Shoppers Drug Mart: 10,000 Bonus Optimum Points When You Spend $50 (Aug 14-15)

Shoppers Drug Mart is always ahead of the game advertising new promotions when we are still trying to keep up with the current ones. As you all probably know, Shoppers Drug Mart has their Refer a Friend Event on now, Aug 9-13, when you spend $30 you get 8000 Bonus Optimum points and you get 8000 Bonus Optimum Points for every friend that you refer as well. Well, from Aug 14-15, when you spend $50 or more, you can earn a bonus of 10,000 Bonus Optimum points.

All these promos recently are in celebration of Optimum's 10th birthday. I can't believe it's been 10 years since the program started, I remember I joined near the beginning and have redeemed for some awesome free stuff since then. It's definitely a great rewards program, even though I don't even shop at Shoppers all that often, the points definitely add up quickly and it pays to shop during these special events.
