Some awesome news today, Target is finally coming to Canada! The US store, Target has agreed to buy out the leases of 220 Zellers stores across Canada for 1.82 billion and open up Target instead. The first Target store in Canada should open up by 2013. I am thrilled because personally Zellers is a store that I avoid, the ones near me are always messy and disgusting, can't find anything and a lot of their items ring in incorrectly when you go through checkout. I know it's a Canadian brand now turning American, but Target is much better, I go to it every time I am in Canada, mostly for beauty brands like Sonia Kashuk.
