This is definitely one of the best Shoppers Drug Mart promotions that I have come across in a long time. When you spend $50 or more on almost anything in-store on February 26, 2011, (excludes prescription purchases, products with codeine, tobacco products, stamps, passport photos, lottery tickets, event tickets, transit tickets and passes, gift cards, prepaid phone cards, prepaid card products and Shoppers Home Health Care locations) you have the choice of either 20x the Shoppers Optimum points or a $20 Shoppers Drug Mart Gift Card! The gift card can be used on your next purchase of $20 or more (check gift card for expiry date). I would definitely choose the gift card myself!

I was trying to do the math. If the purchase is around $50 then maybe the GC is good. But if you happen to haul more than that then the x20 points might be better (if used on bonus redemption day). Tough decision!
ReplyDelete@Halifax - I like the idea of the gift card cause I feel like I am getting free stuff up front, I don't redeem my points all that often.
