Earth Hour: Switch Off Your Lights, Show Your Support March 26, 2011 8:30pm

Sunday, March 20, 2011
Are you taking part in Earth Hour this year? The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is sponsoring this event, taking place on March 26, 2011 at 8:30pm. Over a billion people around the world take part in this event each year, uniting to support solutions on climate change. All it takes to participate is to turn off all your lights on March 26 for one hour, and hopefully recognize how this one change can make a huge impact. You can read more about this on the link below, how Canadians are taking part, and also look up what events are taking place for Earth Hour in your community. I am taking part, are you?

  1. Well what can I say more about this nonsense of Earth Hour !! Most of Canada and around the wold have already modern natural and safe hydro-energy power... My question is ?... What is better for our planet earth, shut-up all the safe energy what we have and replaced with more than 10 billion candles around the world what produces carbon dioxide and destroying oxygen in the atmosphere ?? Well you tell me, do we really help our planet EARTH !! POOR OUR PLANET EARTH !!!
