I saw a reader searching for Holt Renfrew deals on my blog and remembered that I had this one sitting in my inbox, so here goes. Holt Renfrew has a spring event on now, when you shop from April 30-May 1 you'll receive a promotional gift card valued at 25% of your apparel and accessories purchase and 15% of your cosmetics and fragrances purchases. Then simply come back May 2-31 and use your gift card in-store.

If I am reading this correctly in the fine print of this offer, they are using "of" and not "off" because the gift card is a percentage of the purchase that you complete, so the gift card that you receive is based on a portion of the purchase that you've made, meaning if you spend more you'll get more on it.
