Canadian Freebies: Stride Spark Gum For 10 Cents Giveaway Coupon

Stride has teamed up with Facebook to give out packs of their Stride Spark Gum for only 10 cents a pack. I am inclined to call this a Canadian freebie because 10 cents is basically free right? Why are they charging 10 cents for it? Their fine print states that

"Stride SPARK is a government regulated Natural Health Product (NHP) that can't be given away for free. The gum contains vitamins B-6 and B-12 which help release energy in the body."

Consumers will receive a coupon to purchase a Stride Spark pack for $0.10. Limit of one coupon per person. Starting August 2 through August 29 there will be four mystery dates when 2500 coupons will be available per date. Offer expires the earlier of August 29, 2011 or when all 10,000 coupons have been given away. Must be 14 years of age. Offer only available in Canada excluding Quebec.
