This weekend is IMATS in Toronto! This is the International Makeup Artist Trade Show and it's taking place at the Toronto Congress Centre this November 12-13, 2011. This event is a big deal in the beauty community. It's open to the public and includes booths from some of the biggest cosmetics and beauty companies. Tickets are required and start at $40 for one day or $65 for a two-day pass. Exhibitors include Eve Pearl, MAC Pro, Temptu, NYX, Crown Brush, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, Make Up For Ever, Face Atelier and others.
The best part of IMATS is that they sell makeup at discounted prices, many of these retailers are on the high-end and intended for makeup artists and you can get them for a fraction of the retail cost, as well there are demonstrations and seminars available too.
