Shoppers Drug Mart Changes Terms For Kraft 8000 Optimum Points Promotion

Shoppers Drug Mart has decided to change the terms of their Kraft promotion halfway through the duration effective September 14, 2012. This is what happens when people clearly take advantage of a promotion and ruin it for the rest of us. You can thank all the people who bought hundreds of these and Shoppers could not keep up with demand, thankfully they didn't pull the promotion altogether. This Sun/Mon there is a 2/$3 special on the Cadbury chocolates as well.
"Due to the overwhelming response to the 8,000 Shoppers Optimum Bonus Points offer on select Kraft products, effective Friday, September 14th, 2012, there is a limit of one 8,000 Shoppers Optimum Bonus Points offer per customer with the purchase of any four (4) participating Kraft products until the end of the promotional period, Sunday, September 23rd, 2012 (while quantities last). Participating products include: Kraft Peanut Butter (1kg and 750g/all varieties), Maxwell House Coffee (all varieties), Ahoy! Extras Cookies (182g/all varieties), Ritz Crackers (225g/all varieties), Tassimo Coffee Discs (all varieties), Stride and Trident Gums (Multipacks of 3/all varieties) and Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Bars (100g/all varieties). Points will be awarded to customers’ accounts by Friday, September 28th, 2012."

    The limit should of been set from the get-go in my opinion that way everyone would of been treated equally.

    So tonight I went and tried to get ahead of the game and bought cadburys before the limit hit. Well surprise surprise I didn't get ANY BONUS POINTS! I wrote a lengthy email to Shoppers Drug Mart customer service just now. So ridiculous.
