Starbucks has introduced a new plastic re-usable cup in US and Canadian markets. The cup is cheap and made of durable plastic. The cup costs $1 and will save you $0.10 on every drink purchased at Starbucks when used (you also get this discount if you use a mug or tumbler of your own). It's designed to hold tall or grande sized drinks (I buy venti typically, no deal). Starbucks will clean the cup for you with boiling water before filling at no extra cost.I like this initiative to encourage people to use re-usable cups and reduce waste, will you try it out? Starbucks already sells many reusable tumbler containers that do the same thing, however for only $1 why not try this out? As long as you remember to bring it along with you! I am not sure if this is a pilot project only or if it will keep going.

I bring my own tumbler already.
