Tim Hortons has announced price hikes at their Canadian locarions starting next Wednesday, November 26. This means your coffee or breakfast sandwich run may cost you more now!The cup of coffee will go up by 10 cents on average, though the change will vary by region. The cost for a breakfast sandwiches will also rise in all provinces except Ontario.
The price hike comes as Tim Hortons Inc. says it faces “significantly higher operating costs,” which include higher prices for coffee beans and meat on the commodities market.
Apparently this is a hot "trending" topic right now, I say meh restaurants/stores raise their prices all the time , it's expected and Tim Hortons is still much cheaper than other coffee shops. I prefer Starbucks over Tim Hortons myself anyway, although I do enjoy Tim Hortons panini sandwiches.
Where do you get your coffee from? Does this price hike affect/upset you?

ReplyDeleteOf course it will now that someone else is running it. Not happy but not surprised at all. It's all about being money-hungry. It'll be down hill from here.
