Walmart Canada Changes To Free Shipping Policy

Did you hear about the changes to Walmart's shipping policy? From all long as I can remember they have always offered Free Shipping all orders, any sized order, this will change come April 2, 2015.

The new shipping policy includes Free Shipping if you spend $50 or more, and if your order is less than $50 it will cost you $4.97 to ship. This is pretty normal for online retailers, Gap Inc does the same $50 minimum and $50 isn't a lot to spend anyway, but Free Shipping on any order was pretty nice.

They will still offer Free Shipping on all orders that are sent to one of their pickup locations across Canada, and there is no minimum purchase requirement on these orders.

There are also changes to oversized and heavy items, which cost more to ship.

Please note, these changes take effect April 2, 2015. So if you want to place some small orders, I suggest doing it soon.
